come down from the clouds and go on the road to beat Rutgers? Hopefully they will be focused and ready to go, but sometimes it's tough to travel far and come back with a solid performance. Worries me a bit.

They had better Fing beat Rutgers as any good will built up against MSU will have been pissed away.

A win against Rutgers gives us nearly 2 weeks of optimism and a fun build up to Iowa

A loss and the MSU game becomes a fluke and everyone just wants the season to be over with - you might as well mail the Iowa game in

Good question. I thought we turned the corner after Minnesota and then NU came out so flat people questioned whether the team had quit. Being a sunshine pumper I hope our line has found its rhythm and NU can run the ball pretty much at will. Also, I'm hoping the defense continues to mix in some zone so Rutgers can't pass us silly.

I would expect them to now be confident that they can win any game, and still hungry for any win they can get. I'm expecting a good effort.

We are such a Dr. Jekyll / Mr. Hyde team that I absolutely have no idea which one will show up at Rutgers. We have a tendency to play at the level of our competition instead of taking control (early) of the games we should win. I guess we should expect another nail-biter.

This has been going on for years and has got to change. Assuming TA starts next year, we need to build some cushions in games so POB (or Bush, or Darlington) can get some reps.
