Adrian Martinez Yard Sale

I wonder if he legitimately doesn't understand that most Husker fans want to forget the entire era when he was the QB. Never a winning season, and this dude literally gave games away with bad decisions at crucial moments.

He also changed schools/coaching staff and had a really good senior season...showing everyone in the process that he could play the position, and flourish, under a real coach. I don't remember him going scorched earth on his way out either. I don't have a problem with the guy. Ain't giving him any money for his stuff either, but he seemed to handle everything with class.

Didn’t he get unseated by a true freshman?

Looks like he was the back-up for the bowl game even though he was ready to play? Either way - I enjoyed watching him play and he was a warrior that I think was asked to do too much. Dude suited up broken and battered and fought.

Who are these poor souls that are about to have their home invaded by a bunch of fans in search of Martinez swag? If I were a betting man, there is already a line forming.

Based on that address, this should be about what Capehart Rd? Isn't there like a relatively new shopping center over there, he could have just sold his stuff out of his trunk in the Olive Garden parking lot.

Statistically he was the worst Husker Quarterback in my lifetime. It sucked for him he believed Wood River.

That was a tasteless post by him.

He does not have a picture up having accomplishing anything, so f*^k him at this point.

@king kong likely agrees

Tired of “yo adrian?”

I've been to many garage sales. What a bummer every time. No one would sell their garage. Should sue for false advertising

tough kid, by all accounts a consummate teammate

backup QB was always going to be his best position (as I stated preseason 2021)

I still haven’t figured out why I should care one way or the other what he does with a bunch of old Husker gear
He's just getting rid of some of the free stuff he got at Nebraska. I bet he's keeping a couple things and he'll sell the more valuable stuff on ebay or FB. Too bad that while the kids from the Frost era got piles of handouts and freebies, they don't have any bowl gear.

If I were him, I would sell a bunch of stuff too. Get some cash and move on.

Under Osborne, Solich, or even Pelini, I think AMart would have been a very successful QB here. Not much different in my view from TMart, Steve Taylor, or Tommy Armstrong. An athletic kid with a decent enough arm who could make great plays followed by boneheaded plays. But he would have been surrounded by better coaches and better talent in those eras. So I think he would have done okay. He had the misfortune of playing under one of the worst, if not THE worst, coach in modern Husker history. I think even Mike Riley was a better coach than Frost.

Best of luck to AMart. He played injured quite often while here and showed himself to be a true team player and a competitor. He just did not win enough games.

Exactly. If you want to be annoyed with someone it's Scott Frost and the rest of a staff that took a struggling program and turned them into utter garbage. I watched a few games from the 90s and then watched a bit of the NU-North Dakota game from last year and the difference in athleticism and attitude is staggering. QB and receiver were actually not that bad. What is godawful is the lack of athleticism and focus particularly on the OL. No QB would have succeeded for long with the shit OL we had.

Heard on the radio- there is a huge crowd there. They had to institute a three item limit on purchases. The first guy in line bought the helmet. These Husker fans are crazy. It sounds like AM should have doubled his prices.
