I had the pleasure of picking up Gaylyn and his lovely wife, Joan Alexander this past Saturday morning in Jersey City, NJ, we met through the site a few months back when they inquired about places to stay, how to get to the game, etc. I wanted to show that New Jersyians "which exit do you live off of" could be half as nice as Nebraskans and offered to pick them up, take them to a tailgate and then drop them back off.
Well, what a wonderful husband and wife team, a great time and such great conversation about our beloved Huskers.
I look forward to making my first journey out to a game in Lincoln next fall, targeting the Oregon game and hoping the Alexanders can get us a table at their beloved Misty's.....
