Last I heard, they thought they could steal Malzahn from Auburn. But they probably plan to finish up their AD search before starting on their coaching search.
You may not believe this, but the money thing isnt at the top of the list for him, especially when we are talking about someone who is already going to making a ton of money
FSU might be the best job opening yet. They are built to win right now with a good QB. They should have no trouble filling that spot.

I think the general consensus around here is that ESPN is not that great when it comes to ‘sources’, but their article says that from a source, FSU would prefer to hire a minority if it worked out correctly. So the main targets were Willie Taggart, Kevin Sumlin, and Charlie Strong...didn’t even mention Frost as a top target.
Never has been, also he played 6 years in the league so he was set financially before he ever got into coaching.

True, I think he's coming here because of family and Tom Osborne. He wants to be close to them while he still can, and I really believe he wants to bring the program back to the top because of Osborne.

Brett is going to end up as an assistant coach somewhere. Maybe a non Power 5 or FCS school will take a chance, but no big boy.
That is true, but everyone has a point where it is tough to turn down the money offered. That is all I meant by that.
Call me crazy but I think this is potentially a good move. A national championship winning coach going to A&M which is in close proximity to Houston, which is just oozing with talent, more than most states.

Call me crazy (my wife already does) but I just don't see Jimbo as a good fit anywhere in Texas. He seems like kind of a goofball and A&M just spent a fortune on him. No idea if he will win there but I wouldn't have wanted him here. Just my two cents.
Wasn’t there an article out there that said Oregon considers Frost to be off the table?
