Spanier is gone but still drawing a hefty salary - and amazingly, PSU is still paying a team of lawyers to keep him from doing his two months of jail time.

There was a fair amount of chatter PSU should not hire him (players being dismissed for rape at Vandy, him lying about seeing the rape video, and of course his desire to meet the wife of any potential coach first - which he took a TON of heat over). No chatter now....but as soon as something bad happens - this stuff will come back up.

Yes a truly inspiring use of buzzwords by a guy who actively interfered with and lied about an investigation into the gang rape of an unconscious woman so he could potentially win more football games. Solid core values.

Talk is cheap. Franklin makes it sound so good to have core values....all those positive messages. But like anyone as competitive as that yutz - when it comes time to stick to values or win football games he have proven he will choose the latter.
