I just wanted to pass along a few golden nuggets I read about new Husker receiver Trey Palmer.
He had an impressive track performance his senior year in high school. He won both the Louisiana Class 1A 100m with a time of 10.42 and broke a decades old record in the 200m with a time of 21.11. The previous 200m record was a time of 21.36 and was set in 1985.
He also logged a 4.52 time in the 40 and a 4.27 in the shuttle run. One analyst has compared Palmer to NFL wideout Rashad Greene and called Palmer "a special teams terror in the return game." I don't know if DONU will use Palmer in the return game or not but that's what the article stated.
When I think about Mickey Joseph's coaching along with the times noted above, I believe Palmer's going to be fun to watch in a Husker uniform.
