Good choices. Kenny Walker was also a terrific player. Though not in Traynowicz's class, Kelly Saalfeld was a very good center.

And thanks again for posting these. It's nice to have one thread per day that is an escape from the blowharding dipshittery.

Almost forgot about Bob Nelson, a very good LB during Osborne's early years as head coach. He played next to Tom Ruud at NU and then went on to have a long career in the NFL.

Still remember Lyell referring to Ruud and Nelson as the Minnesota twins.

Kenny Walker gets my vote for his overall career at Nebraska and his dedication to excel.
