They were in a BCS bowl 4 or 5 years ago and other than 2015 have had decent teams for years. So it's kind of unfair to rip too much on the prior coach.
and none of those 51 players or current players were on that team! My point is valid!
Burkett who had the pick 6 today played on the 12-1 Fiesta bowl team. All the redshirt seniors were at least on the sidelines for that game.
First you said he's not coming...

How many from the BCS team were on the 0-12 team? Or the conference champion team the year before? Was the previous coach who won 47 games in 5 years before his team went 0-12 a bad coach? Did the talent level magically fall off during the 0-12 season? The 0-12 coach was a conference coach of the year 6 times and 2 times was a national coach of the year. He won 5 conference championships and UCF had never won a conference championship before he arrived. But yea it was because he was a terrible coach that they went 0-12.
