Accessible concourse throughout the stadium is nice.
Student section is South stadium is a major upgrade for homefield advantage
So needed. South stadium is embarrassing. So ghetto.
Will it change how the games look on TV from my couch?
1. Damn, thats expensive for part of a stadium, or no?
2. Much needed.
3. I'm sure there will be a vocal minority who will absolutely hate it, waste of money etc. If 250M is privately funded, at least the people with big money want this, so boo hoo.
4. Going to be weird to have part of the stadium closed for 2 seasons for renovations. Won't be a thing to keep sellout streak alive.
5. What happens for season ticket holders in South Stadium? Edit, or is that all students. TBH I'm not sure on that. Didn't attend UNL, though I've sat in south stadium before.

South stadium will look dope. So maybe? lol. Its still where I will watch almost all games. Living out of town and having 2 small kids and being a big guy myself isn't conducive to going to a lot of games.
It baffles me that fund raising goes so well when it comes to facilities but we struggle so much funding NIL
NU isn't struggling with NIL money.
Hard to say. Maybe donors see this as a long term investment, where they don't see the same value in NIL. I'm not the person who has that kind of disposable income so I have no idea how those people think.
Edit I'll also say I don't have any idea how we are faring in NIL.

And we are significantly behind USC-Oregon and Washington coming into the league

With as much money as they're spending, I am curious if they gave any real thought to just going ahead and building an entirely new stadium? Then bulldozing Memorial Stadium and the university could repurpose the land to whatever it was that they needed.

I don't think Idaho Husker realizes how much money and no debt NU actually has. Nebraska Athletics are a cash cow.

This is all great. But it will be $450 million wasted dollars if we don’t start winning again. None of this will mean a damn thing if in 5 years we are still a bottom feeding program. Shiny new and empty seats with seat backs.
Are private donations of better use on stadium upgrades, or NIL? Dollars spent on one can’t go to the other.
Stadium should be louder as well with that noise being corralled.
