Jarez Parks, a four-star defensive end prospect from Sebastian, Fla., announced his commitment to Alabama on multiple platforms Wednesday.
There was a Bleacher Report video and a Facebook video from PrepZone.
But, there's one problem. Multiple sources told AL.com that Alabama won't sign Parks today because there is no room for him.
Parks didn't announce earlier this morning, indicating that he was too emotional. 247Sports reported that Auburn, Baylor, Miami and Georgia all reached out to Parks after he pushed back his announcement.
Multiple media outlets reported that Parks will be a grayshirt, not signing today and delaying enrollment until January.
Parks is the nation's No. 78 overall prospect, No. 7 weak side defensive end and No. 17 prospect in Florida. He took his official visit to Alabama in the fall.
