With the firing of Banker one has to wonder if we are going to move towards a new style of defense. I for one think moving to a 30 front would be a wise decision, with the lack of DL talent wanting to come our way, and the flexibility it offers in dealing with spread offenses as well as power offenses it would make sense.
I know there was some talk earlier about it and I'm thinking that it might be part of the reason Riley moved away from Banker. Not the only reason just part.
So could we be looking at DC's who specialize in 30 fronts? I really think we have to go with a experienced coordinator.
