the offense basically scored 10 points (pick6 and 3 from the usc fumble)sad cause it was a good day by Emmett Johnson and Dowdell 18 carries 107 yards between them.....good average yards per carry..... and Wright had awesome day Pick 6 and blocked FG....he'll get some NIL offers if he portals on us...

I don’t think so I actually think we’ll have more speed and talent
Who will replace Nash and Ty?

Also, this coaching staff has been here 22 months, how is Malcom Hartzog their best option?

In the secondary, Hill, Buford, Singleton and Gifford are all leaving. Before you say addition by subtraction, how is it that all of these guys are still playing significant minutes?

Are you ready to hear the excuses next year about how we really miss John Bullock? Rhule will be using that as an excuse as well.

I have zero confidence in our coaching staff to upgrade talent anywhere on the field as they have been here nearly 2 years and they have made zero progress

But, it's the culture, remember? The culture of losing.

OTOH - USC was just so incredibly fukkin’ lucky today. Their first TD came off a miracle heave that had no business finding a target. Their second TD comes off a once in a lifetime ricochet off a defender’s helmet. Their final TD came on a drive where they snapped the ball into the leg of a guy going in motion; followed by a critical completion that was a shot put from the QB whose arm was hit as he threw, only to be caught in a once in a lifetime ricochet off a defenders helmet.

Seriously - WTF!!!!

If it’s the culture, then Rhule should have identified that and sat the older players in favor of younger players.

That’s why he gets paid the big bucks is to identify and execute on culture.

He’s not doing it. I’m done blaming the players

Yeah, I don’t know what he’s telling these guys, But it is mostly falling on deaf ears. They don’t believe him

Railoa sucks and that is a fact. The team knows it too.
Worst post of the year. Any team deficient of talent hanging their hat on a true freshman to make up for lack of across the board talent will struggle. It’s not Dylan’s fault we have the worst wr’s I’ve ever seen. Not only with route running but they can’t block on the edge to save their life. It’s not Dylan’s fault we’ve had an OC that didn’t even try to out scheme defenses up until this game. It’s not Dylan’s fault we refuse to commit to running the ball. It’s not Dylan’s fault we’ve asked a true freshman to play super hero with a supporting cast lacking ONE nfl caliber player. This fanbase’s treatment of a true freshman is exactly why he should have never come here.

WTMotha Fvcking cock monkey dick shit was that! We just got fvcking fvcked! That was the worst “no call” I’ve ever seen. We just got totally screwed. Fvck this corrupt ass POS league. 😡😡😡

That non-PI call is the worst no call you've ever seen?

Why haven’t we seen Coleman in there at all? Three games left + a potential bowl game is his 4 games and still eligible for redshirt
There has to be something going on with him. I’ve heard rumors but I think if he was a better option he would be on the field.

Yeah but 13 points on offense isn’t going to win many games with our porous D. The they had a 40 yard run on a short side option. 😡

I remember clearly how we lamented that we would lose him to another school. The pearl clutching was next level. Fast-forward two years and it’s a giant nothing burger

Well that could be what’s going on. He might have already told them he’s leaving and doesn’t want to play.

Right now the last thing Rhule is worried about is a RS WR transfering to a different school.

If someone offered him a guaranteed 6 win season THIS YEAR for every RS FR on his roster,
he would say, "You can have 'em."

Possibly 2 years in a row missing a bowl game, 8 straight years no bowl game for NU? 8 YEARS.

We'll be six teams' homecoming game next year.

I loathe the constant bitching about the officials that goes on…but goddamn; the refs took points off the board twice.

And I totally get that those Hail Marys don’t get DPI calls, but there is usually a scrum of 6 or 7 guys jockeying for position, so they let it go. On NU’s last play, there was no scrum, there was merely a USC DB BLANTANTLY HOLDING Banks. Goddamn, you gotta flag that. You can’t let something like that go.

Such bullshit.
100%. If that play occurred in the first 3.5 quarters, they're calling DPI. Why, because it's the final play of the game, do those not get called?

With the new roster limits the “process” is going to take on new importance. A lot of guys are going to have to leave.

***disclaimer... this in not even speculation, it's only a nightmare scenario***

Let's say, and this is totally hypothetical,

Dylan has told Rhule,, "I didn't come here to sit. If I'm able to go, and you bench me for more than one or two plays, I'm outta here." So, in that scenario Dylan owns Rhule.

As a result of that, Rhule then has to tell DH, "Look, if Dylan is able to perform, we will not sub for him for more than one or two plays a game. Try to make it work."

End result? Dylan may or may not leave. What you think that does to DH and his plan as the OC going forward? He's likely outta here too.

Just hypothetical, but I know Tommy Frazier told that to TO when he was a freshman and Grant? had been stinking up the place.

Highly recruited kids have been on scholarship since the 5th grade.
They're used to getting their way.

Spoken like a true Offensive Coordinator. Why do you think Bobby Bowden ALWAYS went deep at least one time during their very first offensive series?

This attitude is deeply troubling. You’ve got a kid like DK who is homegrown and would do anything for the team. Let’s not forget that he was a four star and decommitted from Missouri, a much better team than us. We wouldn’t be worried about his loyalty. He needs a chance to win the job next season

He had a chance to win it this year and couldn’t beat out Haarberg. He needed a year at least to get stronger. He made a good choice IMO to stay home. He very well could end up being a 2 year starter.
