Gotta be honest: not sure what they are doing throwing Waldron so many pitches today. Also don’t like when they bring in his brother right after him. Their stuff is too much alike, and mike’s stuff isn’t as good. Mix it up Silva (and next Friday is more important than today).

Happy to be wrong, but I think this is very questionable.

I wonder if it’s a tip-off that the plan is to pitch “backwards” next week and go with Fisher on Friday. It wouldn’t be a terrible strategy.

How the ump called out on the field is beyond me. That’s as much of a bang bang play you will see—90 percent of the time that is called safe due to erring with “tie goes to the runner”. Bad break.

Both of OSU’s tournament championships in the 8-team-field era have occurred after playing an elimination game the morning of the championship game.

They bother to put Wisconsin's name on the baseball championship trophy? OK.

I noticed a couple years ago (2017 at Bloomington) they finally took Wisconsin's logo off the tournament programs. This year they had all of the conference teams' logos in the right field bullpen, and it made me happy that Wisconsin wasn't included.

I'm guessing the trophies are just stockpiled for the non-elite sports and they slap a nameplate or do some etching. Would be a pain to make separate trophies on the smaller sports different from each other. I'm curious about the hockey and lacrosse trophies as Notre Dame plays Big Ten hockey (7 teams total) and Johns Hopkins in Big Ten lacrosse (6 teams total).

I take the blame.
We hounded the ump all weekend.
The worse he got, so did we.
The players were not the only ones being mean mugged by the umpire.
So my fault we lost.
Just trying to protect the integrity of the game, right???
Then you'd look over at the B1G and Tournament officials all picking up newspapers or doing crossword puzzles, right there in the front row for all 17,000+ to see. Some would go hide in the player's entrance, back in the replay area, probably erasing tapes that's my guess anyway.
And officials were hearing it before the game even started...
Why is Nebraska the Away team? Higher seeded. Same elination game.
Why is Nebraska dressed to look like Ohio St and vice versa? It was so confusing for fans showing up late because there was no official start time, so people coming in late didn't realize they were cheering for the wrong team!!!
Just a lot of questionable last minute decisions by Tournament officials, that seemed to all favor Ohio St.
But no matter.
So with a heavy heart, I will take the blame for the loss.

Congrats to Ohio St who played a great tournament.
The B1G can proudly boast of getting a 5th seed in the NCAA Tournament.
