#25 in coaches poll, #27 in AP

Army and Navy are on track to meet in their conference title game. And then a week later in their regularly scheduled classic time slot, which would make that second Army/Navy game meaningless. The winner the week before would lock up the CFP bid a week before if they are undefeated.
Polls have a lot of factors that go into them beyond who the better team is. Record (regardless of opponent), comparative scores and even program name factor in. Army is ahead of us, but would army be there if they played our schedule? I doubt it.
Ahead of Oklahoma and USC if you want to look at it that way (which you don’t).

They are unbeaten and have been drilling teams .. At this point who cares, more importantly take care of the next team on our schedule..
Yep, but way behind ISU, Mizzou, KSU, IN, ILL. Sigh...
At least CU got heartbroken by KSU.
If we beat Indiana, we will see a big jump in the polls. Only to get punked by an angry OSU a week later.
Perhaps, but if we play them close, it will earn respect. Get used to wipe the floor, well, you get what you deserve.

Where did I say we played a hard schedule? But by contrast, Colorado, Illinois and Rutgers is murders row compared to what army played. Its relative.
27th the AP poll just like last week. Moved past Utah, OU and USC. Jumped by Army, Navy and Vanderbilt.
According to SP+, we are #22 overall. Offense is #83, Defense is #1, Special Teams is #126. Out 134 total.
Navy is #73 in SP+, but AP has them ahead of Nebraska.
How can this be? I’ve read on this board how much better Wisky and Iowa are . How can they be ranked well behind us
