Hallmark (0.00 ERA) enters for Fisher

Also, Henwood looked like an idiot running into the field without Gomes’ hat and glove, then ran back to the dugout.

As good as Waldron was Wednesday, I think Fisher was even better today against a more potent lineup.

Only three runners reached second base, all in the second inning when he gave up a single run.

Nate got’m!

T8 Iowa vs Hallmark

(PH) Wallace K swinging
Fullard single through the right side (Gomes didn’t even try for it)
McCleary F9
(PH) McCaffery single through right side (Henwood overshifted)
Adreon P9

10-1 NU, M8

It took about 27 pitches and a lot of adventure, but Hallmark maintains his perfect ERA :)

Frazier went to the bullpen while Hallmark was warming up ahead of T8, guessing we’ll see him in T9 unless Erstad wants more Hallmark. That wasn’t pretty.

It’s a good thing for us that neither Waldron nor Fisher were on the All-Conference teams, other teams might have known about them then.
Exactly. How Waldron can be 2nd in the nation in strikeout to walk ratio but not even be 3rd team All Big Ten is beyond me. Shows how little the Big Ten media really understands or comprehends baseball.
