2025 young Huskers roll call studs who got good PT

There's hundreds of positive posts here, and I only responded to a few of them. And in return, I get people saying they're going to run me over for my opinion. I'm not the one forcing my views on anyone.
Correct, on a day with zero reason to be negative you took it upon yourself to find the negative. Again the textbook definition of caring if others are enjoying the victory.

To be fair, there are a lot of reasons to be negative on this day

But we have 9 months for that

Wins are wins and we aren’t in a position to be picky as to how we come by them

Half the front page is fire the ST coach threads

We won, that’s all that matters

We can talk about the rest (there’s a lot) later, I agree
I'm sorta halfway here. There were loads of things that weren't done right (DR's slide says hi) and some pleasant surprises (how hard is NU going to have to keep Vincent Shavers?).

What irritates me is that in a win that broke so many bad jujus, how in the hell can people just focus on the negative? It's kinda weird.

We did not miss Boerkircher. Haarberg is already just as good as he was and he'll be a lot better next year. Much better athlete. And Nelson will also be able to play the role of "move TE" next year as well. Nelson will be much more of a weapon moving around, lining up everywhere and going in motion rather than just being a tall, slot receiver with below average speed and quickness.
My comment was more about getting Fidone out of the picture. I was as high on Haarberg moving to TE as anybody and Nelson will certainly come along. Was actually hoping that Nelson could stay in a hybrid TE/WR role and if Boerk came back, that would be much more feasible.

No, I'm just not bipolar like most of this board is, and I'm able to keep my emotions in check and see reality for what it is. What I say shouldn't affect other people's emotions and I don't even know why it would. Nothing you guys say would affect me in that way.

Lies. Anything I say gets your blood pressure boiling. No one curses me more than you.

Fact.

Edit: and I’m not trying to start something. Just pointing out how much you hate me.

Yes.

Say what you want about whether that was a "late" slide or not, that's the first time, I believe, that a DR led offense here had a chance to salt away the game and actually did it -- instead of doing something like going 3 and out or turning it over.

If it takes a late slide to win -- take the late slide.

I doubt anyone for BC was bitching about their QB throwing a bomb to their blanketed wideout late in the game in order to draw a DPI and automatic first down. You do what you have to in order to win.

Lock down Phil Simpson and keeping the Miami players becomes much, much easier.

We did miss Boerk. Fidone is awful. Must be a practice all star because he never shows up come game day. Thought Haarberg played pretty well and blocked fairly well even though he's on the lighter side right now.
You just outed yourself as knowing nothing. Fidone had a very good game. He made several good blocks and even made someone miss after one of his multiple catches. Fidone was anything but awful today, and I called for benching him for good after the ucla game during which his pay was inexcusable, so its not like Im a fan of his.

Its obvious Dana had a positive effect on him. And people wont like it, but SATT probably deserves some credit as TE coach for helping fidone improve and getting HH ready to play so quick.

I was very doubtful about HH at TE. He still needs improvement, however today he proved he can play te and play it well.
