2025 OL is concerning

I keep hearing we've got a "young" team but we've got a lot of experience across the team. Defense will lose a lot. Our OL has a lot of young guys, but they're inexperienced. They'll just have to step up. That's college football for you. I do think we'll have a big gap in numbers on the OL between our 1st and 2nd year players and the upperclassmen. Evans and Lutovsky may be the only experienced upperclassmen we have in 2025 which is scary. I bet they move Evans back to center (unless Sledge is too good to keep off the field). My guess for next year is that it'll be Gunnar, Pyle, Evans, Lutovsky, and another one of the youngsters. Teddy coming back would be a nice surprise but I don't think we can count on it. Brix might be ready to play. Taumua may be healthy and ready to contribute. Seagren may be our next walk-on starter on the OL. There are a lot of youngsters who'll have a chance, but if we can get a transfer offensive tackle who can play I'm sure Nebraska will try to get him.
I like the youth we have on OL. The numbers there look good. It may just be a tough year in 2025 as they gain experience.
I'm actually more concerned about DT where we lose Nash and Robinson. We have a number of young DL who look good, but none seem to have the size and bulk of the those two.

In general recruiting in the trenches has been weak since we joined the BIG
Keona Davis (Wilhite on Rivals page)- 5.8 4*
PWill - 5.8 4*
Cam L - 5.8 4*
RVP - 5.7 3*
Kai Wallin 5.6 3*
Carroll-Jackson 5.6 3*
James Williams NR
Jeudy - transfer 5.8 4*
This is the recruiting that Rhule and Co have done. Davis is playing as a true freshman, and the rest have played in games this year. Williams has been developed as a pass rush specialist. Lacking on top end talent, sure. Weak, I don't think so.

Kai Wallin at 5.6 3 is looking like a stud when he gets in. That's a solid group.

This has been said every year since Cavanaugh was here and the line continues to be pedestrian.
Was there excitement with OL recruiting under Frost?

2019: 6 OL, but I only remember being excited for Benhart & Banks. I'm pretty sure everyone knew Desmond Bland wasn't making it onto campus even when he committed. The other 3, I'm not sure why anyone would've been excited for?
2020: Only 2 OL, haha!
- EDIT: Looking back at this class, man, it was bad.
2021: Only 3 OL, big get being Prochazka & that was about it.
2022: Holy schnikes.... ZERO OL commits.

OK, because he's tall, you're a soothsayer. Also, 70% of the people on the roster have done nothing. I guess they're out too! History, you know!

BTW, we have seen him play when he's healthy, and he has done "something".
Thanks for your response Teddy... I'll talk to your a year from now about why you didn't make it yet again smooth brain.
