2025 NFL draft. Prime's boy falls out of 3rd round👈😂 5 QB's have been taken before Shedeur!!

I think there is a great chance he goes undrafted. Unless someone throws him a pity pick in the 7th
Unfathomable a couple days ago, but I agree.

At this point teams will be drafting QB's for backup / depth. What team wants to bring in a reality TV show family into that role?

For a starter, it might work. Who would put up with that for a #2/3?

It’s definitely looking like that - I couldn’t believe it given the hype - but there is a bunch of people who likely see him as an absolute cancer to their team. You get taken low enough - I suppose you just come in and shut up or get bounced.

Who is going to listen to Deion telling them an UDFA should be the starting QB?

If Shedeur want to play in a huge media market, I'll bet the Argonauts are interested.

They're going to end up talking more about 1 player not drafted than all the ones that were
NFL Network post draft coverage already going of on why Sanders haven’t been drafted. It’s wild they basically said he needs to call GMs and say he will stfu. Basically resort to begging now.

Anyone think that Shedeur is out of position? QB is the most attention whore position in football. Seems he should've gone after his dad's position of CB and punt returner. Anyone else think this?

As crazy as it sounds, he may very well go undrafted. Nobody is going to be wanting to deal with that media circus with a backup QB. If he's undrafted, less money and dead cap involved to cut him and move on.

He doesn't have the athleticism to play another position. Out of all the Sanders boys, he's probably the least athletic.

I saw someone ask a very valid question... if his last name wasn't Sanders, where would he be projected?

-Played in a system where the coach intentionally played to his strengths, and also padded stats. Admittedly, he did put up good stats.

-Not a particularly strong arm, definitely better known for his accuracy.

-Slightly undersized, not particularly athletic by modern QB standards.

-Tends to hold onto the ball too long.

-Fairly slow throwing motion and release.

I originally thought he should be Round 2-3, but reading that it really does sound like a description of a mid round quarterback prospect.

Can’t believe Rich Eisen has gone full conspiracy mode saying it’s collusion by the owners to punish and humble the Sanders family.
The networks are embarrassing themselves over this on why this has happened. Shedure is exactly like Deion . He is an arrogant self centered POS . The difference is Deion was one of the best athletes to grace an athletic field. A all pro on the football field and an all star on the baseball diamond. You can overlook the rest because of the ability. Shedure can’t carry his dad’s jock on the athletic field. That’s why he waiting until Day 3 of the NFL draft.

I don't think anyone's passing on Sanders because his arm talent, or what he's capable of doing when everything is going right. I thought he would drop in the draft because of those drive-killing sacks he takes and his untimely INTs - things NFL teams absolutely hate. But I didn't think he would fall this far.

If you could somehow turn back the clock and put Sanders in a program where he got actual coaching and was held accountable for his mistakes, I think you would have an early first-round QB. But that ship sailed a while ago.

I had to laugh as I saw Bronny James getting on the floor for the last 40 seconds of the Lakers' loss to the Timberwolves.

Maybe NFL GMs found that draft pick instructive?

Ohio State beating the Big 12.😂
And that's another reason to hate the NIL era. The talent flocks to the super teams. Ohio State recruits exclusively five star and high four star talent. Yet they still brought in Simmons and Judkins who get drafted in the top 35 picks with others to follow. Seems like almost all of the guys Mississippi and Oregon will have get drafted are NIL transfers.

Great post. I know that you are joking but I was just thinking something similar. Shedeur has been so selective about who he wants to play for and his "camp" has been so sensitive to anything negative that I was wondering what they would do now after the entire NFL passed over him multiple times. The Deion thing to do would be to go play in a different league. Hell, maybe he does go to the CFL and start filming some sort of social media, redemption story up there. The interest would be high, at least some money would roll in. Shedeur could be a star up there and if he goes there straight from Colorado, NFL fans of struggling teams will start saying "what if?"

If he's really just destined to be a disgruntled backup QB in the NFL, I think going to the CFL first before everyone realizes that he really does suck would be a fun move.
