Keylan Abrams decommits from Purdue. He had been committed to the Boilermakers since June 13. The Husker staff has been recruiting the three-star linebacker from DeSoto (Tex.) hard and sent him this graphic after he was named the Dallas Morning News' defensive player of the year (Purdue sent him one after Nebraska did):
The 6-foot-2, 208-pound Abrams had a breakout junior season with a school-record 23.5 sacks to help lead DeSoto to an undefeated 15-0 season and a Class 6A Division II state championship. He played on the same team as 2024 Husker signee Mario Buford.
