2025 Husker football schedule

i've said N was elite during dr. tom's time. that was two decades past.
It feels like I’m talking to a wall here.

You can’t compare the Raiola situation to Cam Newton at Auburn. Nebraska has shown time and again that it’s committed to long-term consistency. I get what you’re hoping for and what you think will happen, but when a Nebraska athletic program catches fire, it tends to stay hot. We’ve got the fan base, the support, and the people here who understand what it takes to sustain success.

i'm not hoping for anything. i simply reviewed how N is viewed today based on the past two decades and before. from elite back in the day to very good today. in that very good program category are schools like auburn, wisconsin, iowa, and so on, but not elites like ohio state, alabama, texas and the like. oklahoma, usc, florida seem to be teetering.

More like the past decade not two.

This is your opinion and you're entitled to it

well, i'm sorry this discussion turned into insults rather than debate. but it's typically that way on social media isn't it, even as some make valid points others fail logic and drift to ad hominem.

i'll be honest, my aspirations for the season will be absolutely crushed if we can't win this one.

this could be a huge momentum shift for the program.
I want the Michigan game as bad as I wanted the CU game last year. I won’t bucket the season if we lose but with a win I may have to alert HR that I will be breaking dress code by wearing super oversized sweatshirts for an extended period of time.

I agree. We've played a lot of good teams very close over the years, but still lost, and it's time to start winning those. Close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades, and slow dancing.

Let's see, a fan of a former conference foe comes on another team's message board and spews opinions he knows will upset the fans of that team, then acts astonished that a) he gets insults sent his way and b) people don't want him posting on the board.

Shocking

Everyone is entitled to an/their opinion. It's a discussion board where hopefully facts and opinions are shared. I guess we're lucky nebraska has a free board. I recently went over to kstate rivals just to look what's going on there. No free board. Hmmm

ANYWAY, it is odd to have visiting cheerleader over here celebrating their team

k-statefans.com is the only 'free' emaw board.

Do you get mistreated when you post on the Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas boards as well? You know, other schools that left K State behind…

I’m assuming you frequent those boards as well, missing your former big brothers…

That Minny game on Friday night, did that just become a big Husker road trip game?

You can leave Thursday OR leave sort of early Friday, it is a 6 hour drive from Omaha (or so).

only tigerboard. i've been there for a quarter century. many friends. likewise, many loathe tm. i could give a shiz less about ou or particularly texas.

This is one of those players who will come out of nowhere and shock people with how good he is. I cannot wait to see him play in Holgorsen's offense.

To this day his dad is my favorite running back of all time at Nebraska. Talk about a running back who knew how to setup and use the blocks from his teammates….maybe the best of all time at Nebraska.

So thankful I was able to see him out duel Barry Sanders in Lincoln back in 1988. RIP Ken Clark.
