2025 Husker football schedule

momentum plays a part, that's why i compare N to auburn, not alabama. every once in awhile a cam newton shows up on the plains. the same with N, raiola may be that guy.

as for howard, he is a beloved son. his brother is on this year's roster, o'lineman. we could not be prouder of will for what he accomplished in columbus. several silver linings. he sent a couple buckeyes to k-state. both will start - tackle and linebacker. plus, he gave now-junior avery johnson a year's experience starting down here.
Good thing Avery got some experience. As a junior SHE looks very average

Who knows how this season will go? Injuries could affect things. Unknowns about the retooled defensive line. Thin at running back. Could go 9-3 or 5-7. Going to be interesting. Winning our first three is a must.
Decent starts to the season have not meant much thus far. This is an apples to oranges comparison of how the first two seasons went in W/L column. (There are a couple games in Aug and Dec I did not include.)

2023 2024 Overall
Sep (2-2) (3-1) (5-3)
Oct (3-0) (1-2) (4-2)
Nov (0-4) (1-3) (1-7)
Tot. (5-6) (5-6) (10-12)

Things are relative to who NU is actually playing, but thus far, that hasn't made a whole lot of difference as the team has not improved as the season goes along. That trend needs to change this year.

it would be a better match today than, say, houston's christian college, don't you think?
Not sure what that has to do with Nebraska beating the snot out of KSU for decades… hey, here’s a thought - why don’t you name someone who thinks the last 25 years were just a bump in the road like you claim? I’m genuinely curious which fan on this board feels this way since you said it.

Ol' Bill built that program playing the HCU's of the world. Let's see if the formula still works.
i don't recall hcu ever visiting manhattan. but there's no doubt he built confidence early on beating the bowling greens and ohios of the world, yep. later though, snyder beat usc twice, iowa, cal, and other quality outfits.

missouri is playing ku this fall. it would be nice to see N and k-state get it on for a series. the old b8 revisited. we're but a hour-and-half apart for crying out loud.

Well considering HBU/HCU didn't even establish a football team until 2013 that only left a few opportunities.

Dude, you aren't even good at trolling. It is one thing to put up with some of the nonsense on this board from posters that can at least irritate me with good troll jobs, but you are just a gnat on the in the ear of Inside Nebraska.
that's first class ad hominem.

Your mama wears combat boots and your sister gives discounts to the 7th Fleet.

I suck at trolling.

Yeah I don't think anyone is doing cartwheels but scheduling is a son of a gun especially when there's been so many moving parts lately with expansion and post season changes. Scheduling gets tougher and limited when it's not possible or feasible for a home and away series when securing 7 or 8 home games

there is literally 0 incentive to play a tough out of conference schedule anymore.

everyone is 0-0 in the playoffs, all you need is to finish 2nd (3rd and 4th for the B1G this year) in the conference to get in.

yes.

And wondered why they didn't get selected to the Cotton Bowl, which was supposed to be where the Big 12 runner up went, or the holiday bowl, where the 3rd place team went, and ended up getting throttled by Purdue in the Alamo.
yep, drew brees lit us up.

  • dylan threw for 2,819 yards, 13 touchdowns, 11 interceptions, 63.8 qb rating
avery threw for 2,712 yards 25 touchdowns, 10 interception, 69.7 qb rating

you won't find much N or b10 talk on k-state boards.
Because there are no teams in the big 12 that used to be in the big 10. Nebraska has history in the Big 12. Also very few people on this board really give a shit about Kansas St. and typically only respond to Kansas St post when you are on here spewing your nonsense.

those numbers above i posted on your qb and mine are facts, not nonsense.

yes, because the b12 is often a topic on this board. so it's my duty to keep the facts from being shaded by the narratives.

That isn’t the point, 2500 posts on a forum of a team that isn’t in your conference any longer, your team no longer play, and when you did play had a putrid record against, in my lifetime your team has won 5 times, and won only 15 times in total in 95 meetings. Perhaps you should spend more time on the Kansas board or maybe the Colorado board, even better the HCU board.
