Garrett Nelson, 2019 verbal from Scottsbluff, won B-4 District wrestling, in Gothenburg, today.
I saw Garrett for the 1st time 1 year ago at district wrestling and he was an impressively put together sophomore at 220.
Saw him Fall '17, playing defensive line, and he had a great motor, quick and was tenacious.
This year he is wrestling heavyweight. He looks to be a couple inches taller and has to be upwards of a very solid 230-240. He literally is a manchild as a Junior!
This kid is going to be a monster and it appears to have the work ethic, character, and Husker roots that Frost and staff know are key ingredients for success!
He should be fun to watch destroying people in camps this summer!!
