With Andrew Bunch being added to the QB mix...do you potentially see a package of plays hoping to mix in some QB run game as a change of pace to what Lee will be doing?
That's a guy who will most likely sit except in case of injury, so it seems like the staff might want to get some sort of mileage out of him.
Tough to say yes. If it was incorporated at all, especially with Lee, it would be a 1 or 2 time per game thing. With POB and Gebbia I could see it a little more frequently but not more than 5-7 times per game.
Personally, I would rather the QB we have use their mobility to extend the play and hit a 15 yard pass instead of keeping the ball on a read option and picking up 9 yards.
The QBs we have aren't dynamic runners like Armstrong or Martinez, but outside of Lee have some decent mobility. I believe we can keep the threat of QB run without the QB running 15 times per game, think back to Kellogg III, he never kept it but the defense couldn't just ignore it completely because he could have and the one time could cost them a big play.
Sorry I think I misread your question. With regards to Bunch, I believe he is an emergency QB and scout QB.
