The blueprint is there for any coach to follow. Recruit the heck out of Nebraska, CO, IA, Jayhawk Conference, and now can add Iowa Western and Southeast CC who weren't established at that time. There is enough talent in our backyard to be a yearly regional team and a conference contender. This is the only recruiting model for NU to have sustained success. Unfortunately, Erstad and Silva have burnt so many bridges in the area with their lack of involvement and relationship building that it will take a new HC and an effort like Frost and Ruud have put into instate recruiting to restore that trust.
