10 Huskers stranded through 8 innings.

Frazier in to pitch for NU, first appearance since 20 March vs. Air Force, prior to that he's only pitched on 23 Feb vs. Oregon State.

So we basically have 1 consistently good pitcher and people started to believe we could host? We will be lucky to win a game in the crap 10 tournament.

Bad part is Ersdud isnt going anywhere anytime soon.

Why does Iowa seem to often play really well against us?

It would be a lot easier to chalk this up to just a weird day that sometimes happens in baseball if yesterday’s outcome were different and we had a rubber match to look forward to. Now I’m concerned for tomorrow’s psyche and avoiding a sweep.

If it’s not obvious yet, I’ll state it: Iowa has a mental edge on Nebraska. And that angers me greatly.

One bright side is we turned this thread into a triple pager. I’m bummed that @sklarbodds hasn't shown up at all but I can’t blame the guy either.

How embarrassing for Iowa: Nebraska's 9 runs today is the most scored since a 9-5 win over Purdue on 07 April.

I’m convinced that if the ref hadn’t blown that pass interference call, we would have scored, gotten the two-point conversion and won in overtime.

Sorry, was working outside with the wife on this incredible day... using explatives when checking the score.

Unfortunately Erstad's teams start sh_tting the bed when they start to get any recognition or hype.

Needed a series win in the worst way this weekend.

I'm not saying this in a panic by any means but an RPI in the 50’s won’t get us in a regional.

Heller is the guy Iowa should have hired before Dahm a few years back.

They need to setup a better OOC so that winning the conference tourney isn’t a make or break. Heller is a heck of a coach.

11 PM and I still can't get my head around 17 two out runs. Never seen anything like it. Probably never will see it again. Ever.

And no chance can you bank on Erstad winning the Big Ten tournament. Especially considering we really don’t have a #4 starter.
