1st Pic of Frost at UCF:

That's fine by me as long as he can turn this place around. We need a leader here, I'm sick of losing.*
I'll be surprised if you're not bowling within 2 years. You've got enough talent for that already but it will take some time to implement a new system.

He's never sat in the big chair before. It's anyone's guess how he will do. He learned from some great coaches at a great program in Eugene. His Oregon street cred should work well in Florida living rooms. But that will only work in the short term. After that the results on the field are what will matter most.

Many Nebraska fans wanted Scott as the head coach when Pelini was fired. We will be watching him closely.

Well, he can't coach them to a bowl game all by himself...so who will he hire for his nine assistants?

It's got to be tough being a first time head coach and finding/hiring assistants.

Does he take one or two assistants from Oregon/UCF's old staff?
Does he only call coaches he has worked with before?
Does he decide what type of offense and what type of defense he wants to run and just start cold calling coaches that fit his philosophies?

I just remember Pelini and how he got some of his assistants and their lack of quality and/or experience before Nebraska.

Ironically, when UCF played in Lincoln he was the QB who broke our backs and hope in the 1990's. We were leading at the half under Daunte Culpepper when boom....*

He has plenty of talent available at a place that has recently been in a BCS game. No reason he can't win minimum of 9 next year.

I was at that game. It is kind of infamous in Husker nation, because some Husker fans booed Frost wanting Frankie London.

I was there as well and couldn't believe what was happening. I was sitting in the SW corner of the stadium, and was around a ton of people who were booing, I honestly thought about telling them to shut up but then thought better of it. But I'll never forget it. I think some fans will be forever butthurt over Frosty picking Stanford over NU initially out of H.S.
