TA - terrible pass there - lucky it was not an INT
It just feels like it is only a matter of time. The best chance he has to complete passes is to get our guys in a one on one and let the receivers make a play on the ball, like they did last week.

oh my gawd, so many penalties
Problem is, that wasn't a penalty. Perfectly legal block. Once again a drive messed up by refs that don't know the rules. It's just mind boggling they continue to trot these idiots out there that can't even grasp basic rules.

I truly do not understand what our OC is thinking sometimes. If we can't move the ball with Newby, let Cross or Jano try to push it.

This is why they need to quit with the square peg crap. Let him take whats open but stop trying to make him play Joe Montana..
There are plenty of wideouts open on the underneath routes. Tommy just never looks there because he knows he can't make those throws. So he bounces around in the pocket with horrible footwork and chucks up deep balls.

What exactly is TA great at though? He's ok running the read option. He's ok passing sometimes. How exactly are they supposed to tailor an offense around an overall decent qb in about every phase? His best asset is his heart, but you can't design an offense around an intangible.

Newby isn't doing terribly, but we are running up the middle a bunch, which would make sense to give Cross some touches.

The good news is Northwestern's offense makes ours look like Baylor's by comparison. They are awful.

Second and a short two - and we run a jet sweep and a pass from the pocket?

Do we just enjoy punting, or what?
