Go away dork.I'll donate if Matt Rhule donates his $2M bonus for the upcoming season.
Elon has four times the money Buffett has. Let that sink in. There's a reason that he can give $1 million to anybody he wishes for whatever he wants them to do.I'll donate the same as Buffett.
Last time I donated, I'm pretty sure the money was funneled straight to Erik Gilbert.how can you sit there and watch NU win only 6 games ?
donate now!!!
I didn't realize that it wasn't a dollar for dollar deduction. So to clarify, what's the deduction for giving money to an athletic slush fund as opposed to donating to a politician or PAC?Ummmm....you only get about 20 cents on the dollar. Make a political contribution that you can't deduct and it might get you tax free tax credits for a wind tower or carbon pipeline....
I believe the gift limit to an individual is up to $18,000 a year. If it's a gift, your kids may have to report it on their taxes (not sure) but it won't count as income. And it's highly unlikely that the IRS would ever look into it or penalize anyone unless it gets into millions a year.Yes to this. I have been gifting my kids money to pay off college debt (now that we actually have some) the last couple of years and would love to be able to write if off. Still doubt I can but I'm all ears.
No, donations to a political candidate, political party, or political action committee (PAC) are not tax-deductible under U.S. tax law. The IRS explicitly prohibits deducting contributions made for political purposes, even if the donation is intended to support policies or issues you care about.I didn't realize that it wasn't a dollar for dollar deduction. Are coaches allowed to donate?I'll donate if Matt Rhule donates his $2M bonus for the upcoming season.
Nice work Husker Nation.
You better get out your checkbook and match the 500kLooks like that will get Nebraska a backup offensive tackle.

And your bashing other Husker fan's for trying to make Nebraska football better by donating money that actually make the team better.I purchased tickets and attended the Colorado and Illinois football games. I spent money on concessions. I also attended a volleyball match on one of the trips and purchased concessions. I paid for parking for the football/volleyball match. I bought Nebraska officially licensed clothing while on one of the trips.
I have an online streaming service that has the Big 10 Network which benefits Nebraska when they receive their yearly distribution.
I purchased tickets for the Cincinnati game in KC which Nebraska will share in the revenue.
Do not tell me that I do not contribute to the welfare of the Nebraska athletic department.

How ironic 😒
Yes but you probably by coffee or pop and or beer. If every Husker gave up a couple coffees a month that would be the difference. For as badly as Husker fan wants to not suck it seems like a no brainer.I will leave that to you guys on the “Premium” board since you are a “Gold Member”.

85,000 Husker fans at one home game. If each donates 100 bucks that's 8.5 million right there to buy some talent.Yes but you probably by coffee or pop and or beer.
