and finish out this class. By simply reading the board, one can decipher that we have an excellent shot at landing Blades, Rafdal, Daniels, Hawkins, and Oby, I didnt want to butcher his name. We are probably between 50-60% on Lenoir. Its is not looking good on Lewis, Johnson, Verdel, and Thompson. Finally, we are still trying to hold onto G. Thomas and if we can make room for him, we will take Tony Wallace. At the least Wallace is a back-up plan.
Let us all remember a few days ago Calvin was looking like a long shot, so anything is still possible. At the very least or barring a total recruiting meltdown, a top twenty class is upon us. Let's sit back and watch this class come together. There will likely be a favorable and an unfavorable occurence here at the end, but thats how recruiting goes. Must give props for all these coaches and the work they did from the end of dead period til now.
Also can we hold off on the Cav and Davis are next on the chopping block and give them spring ball and fall practice to see the product that gets placed on the field. Lets enjoy this recruiting close and remember the young talent that has been waiting in the wings and will now have their turn. Building a program isnt easy, and I could be wrong but we are close to turning the corner. There will still be bumps in the road but it sure looks to me like the road is getting smoother. GBR
