It's going to be my first Nebrasketball game ever. We're coming up from Kansas. Hopefully we will get there before the snow hits. We have a hotel for that night so at least we won't have to drive home in the middle of it. This is going to be interesting. I literally don't know anything about this team. Last year I at least knew who Tominaga was. My friend is a big UCLA basketball fan and he arranged everything so I'm just along for the ride...and the beers.

Gotta get the Big 3 off to a good start (Brice, Juwan, and Essegian). And play defense like they did against Creighton (and holiday tournament). Let’s just hope it doesn’t come down to a last second shot as Hoiberg isn’t very good at those.

Great opportunity today...it would be nice to get a huge quality win in the bank. A loss is not devastating, but a win to start the year would be a great resume builder.
They coulda, but eneded up shitting all over themselves in the loss. We shoulda beat them as we had the superior talent over all but 1 team we lost to which was tOSU. We are a much better team than our record indicates. 5 of those 6 losses should be W's. The Indiana game, we shit the bed 100 times worse against Indiana than we did in our 5 other losses and deserve the blowout we got handed to us.

UCLA looks to be much quicker than we are, going to have to shoot it well or force some mistakes
It's like watching an elementary game. NU throwing the ball around waiting for a perfect shot. Gonna have to create.
I don’t mind him taking certain shots if they’re just gonna leave him wide open. Team needs to know that he has to take some shots to keep his defender honest and they have to crash hard when Rollie shoots. Get the put back.
So far my only one of my two keys to the game is happening. Playing smothering defense so far but need the Big 3 scorers to start putting it in the hoop.
