I’ve seen this here and heard it from Ohio State and Georgia fans so I went digging.

Raiola was supposed to have played at Chandler, but his family moved to Texas where he was a backup to Kitna’s son as a freshman (Kitna was HC). He started as a sophomore and was extremely productive.

His family moved back to Arizona to be closer to more family and he started at Chandler as a junior, was very productive, etc. For some reason, he and it seems like 20 or so other kids left Chandler. Dylan ended up at another Arizona high school.

It was later learned and then anticipated that he’d have to sit out some time due to transfer rules within Arizona’s sports governing body. By this time, he was committed to Georgia so it made sense to go play his senior year where he could go to home games, build relationships, etc.
