    Nekton Mentality

Agreed. Wandale, Luke McC, and Nelson will need to be those cornerstone culture builders and leaders.

    Nekton Mentality

Hate to admit it, but there's a very good article on espn about PJ Fleck and Minnesota. All about culture and buy in. All the talk about Nebraska's weak culture seems to ring true as Fleck described his early, divided teams. Until NU can flip the loser mentality, the wins are not going to come...

    Chinander's gotta go!

Hav There isn't 1 defender that I'm sorry is leaving. D line has zero ability to get past a double or even single block. Even Mo Barry has been exposed this year.

    2ND HALF GAME THREAD!

Yessir, agreed there. Tired of watching the d get pushed around.

    2ND HALF GAME THREAD!

    And why was that?

    2ND HALF GAME THREAD!

31 points should get it done against an average opponent. Offense was good, not great ALL game. Defense was POROUS and SOFT all game. No playmakers and soft scheme.

    2ND HALF GAME THREAD!

That's ridiculous. Offense has moved the ball all game.

    2ND HALF GAME THREAD!

Not just this game, but all season. This defensive scheme is not good. Scheme plus lack of playmakers and pass rush equals this. Can't stop anyone and rarely in position to do so. Tough to watch.

    Trench Warfare

I saw the d line getting moved backwards and sideways most of the night. Linebackers were awful, that's correct. Over pursuing and not wrapping up or getting 8n the right fits. I'm ready for the old guard to sit and let the young, hungry kids play.

Playing hard and playing smart don't take talent

I'll play... Effort players I observed tonight: Barry and Honas on D. Vedral, Wandale, Cam, Stoll, Mills, Warner on O.

Playing hard and playing smart don't take talent

Thought the same thing and asked my buddies the same thing. No passion or effort and it's baffling.

    Trench Warfare

Both lines were totally dismantled tonight. On the o line, I would say the only lineman not getting consistently pushed back or bowled over was surprisingly Cam. There isn't one name to positively mention on the d line. Darrion on down were thrown around like rag dolls. Very disappointing for...

    South Alabama

Wasn't being negative, simply stating a fact that the S. Alabama game was, unfortunately, a true sign of things to come. Still have faith but the strain and struggle is real... as Diaco would say.

    South Alabama

Record is 1-4. Aside from their win vs. Scrub U, the Husker game was their most competitive by quite a margin. A bit more concerning than 1st thought.

    Benhart, Corcoran and now Prochazka

The only issue worse than the o line was the d line last night. They got pushed around and mauled most of the night

    Lines II

Cam has been bad again tonight with his snapping. Too bad... he was hyped way too much, but he at least shows athleticism at times unlike hixon, wilson and farniok.

    Lines II

Until Nebraska recuits and develops real game changers on the o line and d line this thing is never truly going to turn around. Both lines are getting mauled tonight, and the difference between the 2 teams there is amazing. Jaimes is the only one I've not noticed getting mollywhopped.

    JD SPIELMAN appreciation thread

Agreed. Aside from that fumble, JD had a great game and continued to keep getting up off the turf. With JD, Wandale and hopefully Mo, the offense will be tough moving forward.
