Ladies and gents, boys and girls ... we're officially two weeks away from the return of Husker football. Now that we're at T-minus 14 days to go, we're starting our spring ball countdown with the Top 14 Most Intriguing Huskers to Watch during spring ball.

I'm sure some will speed past this part but it's important:

This is not a list of the 14 most important players on the Huskers' roster, and it is not a list of the 14 best players in the Nebraska program. It is a list that consists of mostly players who we have not seen on the field much, if at all, in a Husker jersey or otherwise who we – and many others – are anxious to see play live in order to get a better understanding of them as an athlete, how they fit into this version of Nebraska football and what their role might be in 2024.

That in mind, we kick it off with No. 14: True freshman WR Keelan Smith

No. 13: Redshirt freshman DB Dwight Bootle II

No. 12: Sophomore transfer DB Blye Hill

No. 11: Redshirt freshman DE/Jack LB Maverick Noonan

No. 10: True freshman Jack LB Willis McGahee IV

No. 9: Transfer addition and fifth-year OL Micah Mazzccua

No. 8: True freshman WR Jacory Barney Jr.

No. 7: Transfer addition and fifth-year junior LB Stefon Thompson

No. 6: Redshirt freshman WR Demitrius Bell

No. 5: Transfer addition and sixth-year senior WR Isaiah Neyor

No. 4: Redshirt freshman DB Jeremiah Charles

No. 3: Sophomore RB Dante Dowdell

No. 2: Fifth-year WR Jahmal Banks

No. 1: Five-star true freshman QB Dylan Raiola
