Maybe the greatest game ever played in Memorial Stadium!78 Neb vs OU
Nov 2004 was my first game actuallyExcuse the troll, he/she isn’t a Husker fan..
Went with a bus load of people to that game.. KU arguably best team in school history winning the Orange Bowl..
Did you play them when you were a junior?
I was there a well. Great tailgating, less than impressive stadium experience. Rose Bowl and the Colleseum were lame.NU vs UCLA at the Rose Bowl, 2011 or 2012. Hot day, but the tailgating was fun. Of course we lost.
same. f'n earl bruce. kinda reminds me of rhule1977 vs Iowa State 😕
Sophomore I think, fall of 72Did you play them when you were a junior?
OU v. Nebraska. 1976. Temp only rose to single digits. Windy. Painfully cold. Hook and ladder to Elvis Peacock broke my heart. https://www.huskermax.com/game/1976-oklahoma-football/It was on October 30, 1971. Our McCook Bison was in town to play Lincoln East that evening. Our coach, Milt Tenopir, talked the NW gate guys to let us in during the 3rd quarter. As soon as we entered, Jeff Kinney scored a touchdown and the crowd erupted. Little did we know we were watching the National Champions that year. I just remembered how all the players were super fast down on the field. We beat the Buffs that day, 31-7.
Yep. I was in north stadium but still cold. Dang wind came up through water gap in cement right up my pant legs. I insisted on wearing my red felt cowboy hat. HUGE mistakeOU v. Nebraska. 1976. The oranges I took to throw froze. Still got them on the field of course.Same! Bouncerooski game. Dang, it was cold that day. Great day for 14 year-old me.
Did you boo Frost? Be honest...1997. My grandpa took me to watch Daunte Culpepper and UCF. Great seats and a great day.
Perhaps you got roofied, stole a cop car, and a tiger, married a stripper, got your manpurse mixed up with a mobster's and finally found your buddy on top of the hotel roof? Just think, had you told your story 20 years ago, you could have made millions selling it to Hollywood.1991(ish) with the We backs, jones and Brown.
Me and a buddy left Omaha on a Friday evening, picked up a bottle of something in a sack, came back on what I think was Monday...and this was before cell phones so our families were pretty worried. Not exactly sure what we did for 3 days, but it was an adventure.
I thought I saw you there.Mrs. HuskerWed and I got married at that game.
78-15-2
$4? Wow I think Mr. Riggens should have held out for more NIL. He got jipped. My uncle took my to a game vs. Kansas where John Riggens ran all over us. Two things I remember from that day; John Riggens and the tickets were $4.00
The game against Oregon with Bobby Moore and Dan Fouts was the opening game in 1971. Devaney called the dogs off at halftime. The Husker defense was tremendous that day.I believe Bobby Moore(later Ahmad Rashad) played?
2001 Oklahoma gameWalleye79, would like you and crutch riley to come forward when both of you went to your first Husker game..
I know you would have no problems coming forward ..CRiley is another story.
He has so much hatred toward the Husker program recently that he would actually piss on Osborne grave when he has passed..
Thanks. Great game to attend no matter at what age…2001 Oklahoma game
I've been watching the Huskers far longer than the first game I went to. FYIThanks. Great game to attend no matter at what age…
Gives me more respective where you are coming from…
Very weak!1983 red-white game.
A monumental game and victory for K-State. Did you also make it to the 1968 game in Lincoln? Or are you not old enough to have witnessed two Mildcat victories in Lincoln?
Trust me I can understand that..I've been watching the Huskers far longer than the first game I went to. FYI
I was 12 with no rooting interest. I was wearing an Iowa shirt even though I didn’t follow them at the time.Did you boo Frost? Be honest...
