As a Huskers fan, you have one job, and one job only, and that is to support Huskers football. If you are at home watching on TV, that means you scream, and yell, and jump and fist pump; maybe even yell at the a coach or QB and tell him what you think, and for some it might mean cussing those guys. If you are at the game it means clapping, cheering, and supporting all the pageantry of college football and trying to make Memorial Stadium the best and most exciting place to be on a Saturday; it means screaming at the top of your lungs when the opposing QB is trying to communicate, and could mean screaming with joy when things go good, or screaming with controlled anger when it isn't good. It means showing up to games with all the enthusiasm we can muster in these terrible times, and keeping the sellout streak alive. But at the end of the day, you must support your team and the people that dedicate themselves to that beautiful game and team that we all love - Huskers football! Why? Because it is the only thing that is within your control. Because it's the only thing we as fans can control, then we must do it with all our might! Fan support is about the only positive thing we have left as Huskers fans and every bit of it is completely within our control. We can't suit up and contribute on the field, we can't walk the sidelines and coach, but we can do our job and support this team with everything we've got.

Some of you erroneously think that you can control other elements of this football team. You think that by griping and complaining about our head coach, incessantly hijacking every thread with comments about firing Frost, or who are next head coach should be, that you will somehow cause Trev to change is mind WHEN HE HAS ALREADY SAID THAT FROST IS COMING BACK! (I personally would have been fine if Trev would have fired Frost, and I've accepted that he is coming back with the proposed coaching changes.) You can't change your head coach, you can't change the QB, it is not your job! It is TA job to hire/fire coaches, and it is Frost's job to insert the QB of his choice.

It is our job to support this team and continue to be the best fans in America; fans that continue to impact recruits with our undying support, so let's do it well!!
