After watching the pregame and halftime, it occurred to me what complete Dicks college football analysts are. Up to the 1980s, college football telecasts were boring, with 2 announcers in the stands and maybe a guy like Bill Flemming or Jim Lampley on the sideline. But the entire time, they realized that these were college kids and never talked smack against certain teams or players, but rather portrayed this as amateur sports, mostly staying positive.
When you watch pregame, postgame, or halftime shows now, you feel like you're listening to shock jocks or Kellen Winslow Jr. It's almost worthy of putting all college games on mute.
