We have had 4 staffs try to turn the program around or rebuild the program since Solich was fired to different degrees of success. However, other programs have either built historically crappy programs into contenders like Iowa St, and Indiana, will others found glory again like Bama and Clemson. What is the missing ingredient that has held Nebraska back?
I personally think it’s coaching, we have gone after coaches way down our wish list because of money, or went after the hot coordinator or JV coach probably also because of being cheap and they are not prepared for what it takes to win. Nebraska is not a stepping stone job, and until we change our hiring to reflect that we will never relive the glory.
what say you, what is missing?
