The Nebraska softball team is set to make its 25th appearance in the NCAA Tournament at the NCAA Stillwater Regional. The Huskers will face North Texas in Game One on Friday, May 20, at 5 p.m. (CT) at Cowgirl Stadium.

Fans can listen to the action live on the Huskers Radio Network and Huskers.com with the call from Nate Rohr. The game will also be streamed live on ESPN+ (subscription required). Tickets are available at okstate.com/ncaasoftball.

The Huskers will face North Texas (35-14) in game one of the NCAA Stillwater Regional. The Mean Green received an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament after claiming the Conference USA Tournament title. UNT had five players receive all-conference honors from C-USA for their performances throughout the year.

No. 7 Oklahoma State (41-12) received at automatic bid after claiming the Big 12 Tournament title, winning over No. 1 Oklahoma, 4-3 in eight innings. This marks the third consecutive season in which the Cowgirls earned the right to host an NCAA Regional and the second straight season in which OSU secured a top-eight national seed.

Oklahoma State will face Fordham (30-20) who received an automatic bid after winning the Atlantic-10 Tournament title. This marks the Rams' 10th trip to the NCAA Tournament and first appearance since 2019.

Huskers to Watch
- Billie Andrews leads Nebraska in runs (52), home runs (19), RBIs (49), total bases (122), slugging percentage (.713), walks (35) and stolen bases (17)
- Olivia Ferrell is 19-7 in the circle with a 2.09 ERA. The senior has tallied 155 strikeouts through 164.0 innings. Ferrell has tossed 16 complete games and five shutouts.

- Nebraska is 16th in the nation in slugging percentage (.536), 18th in doubles (83) and 19th in scoring (6.20) and batting average (.315)

- The Huskers' .971 fielding percentage is currently chasing the school record of .973 which was set in 2006

- NU currently holds a team batting average of .315. This looks to be one of the highest team averages since 2015 (.337).

- Nebraska's defense is ranked 15th in the nation in double plays per game

- Mya Felder has the sixth-best batting average (.395) in the Big Ten

- Associate Head Coach Lori Sippel is in her 33rd year at Nebraska. Sippel is the longest-tenured female assistant coach in the history of Nebraska Athletics.

- Revelle (1981-83) and Sippel (1985-88) also played for NU. Including their playing and coaching careers, Revelle and Sippel have been a part of 1,364 of Nebraska's 1,541 all-time victories (88 percent).

- In her 14th season, assistant coach Diane Miller rounds out the Husker coaching staff. Miller has helped Nebraska's offense set more than 40 school records.

SCOUTING NORTH TEXAS
- North Texas (35-14, 17-7 C-USA) goes into the NCAA Stillwater Regional after winning its first C-USA Tournament title. The Mean Green claimed a run-rule victory over Western Kentucky to receive the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. This is North Texas' first appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

- The Mean Green are hitting .294 as a team and are led by Lexi Cobb. Cobb is hitting .414 and has appeared in 45 of UNT's 49 games. Cobb has tallied 41 runs, 58 hits and 23 RBIs.

- Kailey Gamble, a First-Team All-C-USA selection, holds a .345 batting average with 49 hits including seven doubles and a team-high 16 home runs. Gamble is also slugging .732 with a .426 on-base percentage

- Cierra Simon and Skylar Savage both earned spots on the All-Freshman team by C-USA. Simon is hitting .263 on the year and .278 in conference play. Simon has added 35 runs, 40 hits and 19 RBIs on the season. Savage is 14-7 in the circle with a 2.84 ERA. She has tallied 119 strikeouts through 145.2 innings.

- In the circle, Ashley Peters leads the Mean Green with a 2.55 ERA. Peters holds a 18-6 record through 37 appearances. The junior has tallied 144 strikeouts through 154 innings pitched.

- As a team, North Texas is fielding .966 with 47 errors through 48 games. The team has given up 34 unearned runs.

- Head coach Rodney Delong is in his fourth season at North Texas and fifth season overall as a NCAA Division I head coach. He was named the 2019 C-USA Coach of the Year. His team broke or tied six school records in his first season with the Mean Green.

SCOUTING OKLAHOMA STATE
- Oklahoma State (41-12, 14-4 Big 12) hosts the NCAA Stillwater Regional after winning the Big 12 Tournament. The Cowgirls picked up wins over Kansas, No. 16 Texas and No. 1 Oklahoma to claim the tournament title.

- OSU comes into the postseason hitting .292 as a team with a .470 slugging percentage

- Katelyn Carwile leads the Cowgirls with a .353 batting average with 49 hits including 11 doubles and six homers. The All-Big 12 second team selection has added 30 RBIs and 30 runs.

- Miranda Elish, a First-Team All-Big 12 selection, holds a .347 batting average with 35 hits and 30 RBIs. Elish leads the team with a .584 slugging percentage.

- Sydney Pennington adds depth to the Cowgirl offense with the third-best batting average (.321). The Second-Team All-Big 12 selection leads the team with 42 RBIs.

- In the circle, Kelly Maxwell leads OSU. The Big 12 Pitcher of the Year holds a 1.32 ERA and a 16-4 record. Maxwell has recorded 238 strikeouts through 148.1 innings while holding opponents to only 28 earned runs.

- As a team, Oklahoma State is fielding .980 with 27 errors through 53 games. The team has given up only 16 unearned runs.

- Head Coach Kenny Gajewski is in his seventh season at Oklahoma State and his seventh season as a Division I head coach. He led his team to a WCWS appearance in both 2019 and 2021 and was named the NFCA Midwest Region Coach of the Year in 2017 and 2019

SCOUTING FORDHAM
- Fordham (30-20, 15-7 Atlantic-10) goes into the NCAA Stillwater Regional after winning its ninth league championship with a 6-3 victory over top-seeded George Washington for the Atlantic-10 title and the automatic bid.

- The Rams are hitting .355 as a team and are lead by Bailey Enoch. Enoch has started 49 of the teams 50 games and is hitting .321. She has tallied 43 hits including four doubles, three triples and seven home runs. Enoch has added 22 runs and 28 RBIs with a .552 slugging percentage.

- Rachel Hubertus has tallied a team-high 17 home runs while starting all 50 games this year. Hubertus has a .289 batting average and a .614 slugging percentage. She has tallied 22 runs, 48 hits and 41 RBIs

- Brianna Pinto has added depth to the Rams offense hitting .293 on the year, including .319 in conference play, with a .341 on-base percentage.

- In the circle, Makenzie McGrath leads the Rams with a 2.17 ERA and 10-6 record. McGrath has tallied 77 strikeouts through 109.2 innings.

- Devon Miller has seen the most action in the circle, appearing in 24 games and 123.2 innings. Miller holds a 2.83 ERA and 11-10 record. The senior has held opponents to 34 earned runs.

- As a team, Fordham is fielding .956 with 61 errors through 50 games. The team has given up 42 unearned runs.

- Head Coach Melissa Inouye is in her fourth season at Fordham and her 10th season as a Division I head coach, having also served as the head coach at Iona for six years.

Series History: Nebraska leads the all-time series with Fordham 1-0, with the only meeting between the two programs coming in 2001, when the Huskers won 10-0 in a neutral-site contest.
