Should I use underlayment for vinyl plank flooring

I’m putting down lifeproof vinyl planks on my concrete basement floor. (In process of finishing basment) .. it’s a somewhat newer home. Basement is very dry. Concrete floors are pretty much level. Is there any point in using underlayment ? The life proof planks have a small pad
