Lets just say for the sake of conversation we are more like 50:50 run pass ratio this year
What would that do to the #'s?
OCDL has said he wants to be closer to 60% completion
Using last years averages we would run the ball 473 times and pass the ball 473 times.
60% completion % at that many attempts is 283 completions. If the average per catch stays the same that means we throw for 4103 yards. The average per pass would change to 8.67 yards
That seems unrealistic to me so lets use a 55:45 ratio
In this scenario we would throw the ball 425 times. This would mean 255 completions and total yardage of 3697 yards.
What do you guys think in this offense our average yards per catch would be? Up or down from Becks offense?
It will be interesting to see how the #'s change with Tommy as returning QB.
