Without coming off as a chauvinist pig I was wondering what is everyone's and especially ex military people's opinion is on this subject.
I guess falling in the older generation group I have a hard time seeing women being put into the position of combat troops. I realize that being anywhere in a war zone is dangerous but I think there is different levels of danger.
I do know my opinion of women being put on submarines and that is that it is not a good situation. I can't say they don't belong there, but I know submarine sailors and the atmosphere on a sub and it will not end well with them being integrated into male crews. There has already been some issues and think it will just be the tip of the iceberg if it continues.
