I shut down my business on February 29 and have retired. I sold most of the company assets except my company car and delivery van. I want to get down to two vehicles and combine resources. I am selling my company car, my van and my F150. My goal is to get a small pickup which I can park in our two car garage and be down to only two vehicles, my wife's car and the new truck. The only towing I do is a small landscape trailer with my zero turn or small tractor.
I am looking at three potential models, I talked to my mechanic and his list is as follows.
Toyota Tacoma
Ford Ranger (new)
Nissan Frontier
He strongly recommended I stay away from The Chevy or GMC (Colorado or Canyon)
My son drives a Tacoma and I understand the reliability and resale, but I'm not totally convinced it's what I want.
I really like the new Ranger Lariat and may even go with the Tremor or if I'm feeling it the new Raptor. I like the Nissan Frontier Pro4X.
Looking for opinions based on actual experience not just conjecture.
