The neighbor just got done with a nice makeover in his backyard. They haven't but the fence back up, but it looks like the fence will end up on my property and some of his retaining wall looks to be on my property. I let him take down 3 of my trees on my property so he could get access around that side. I really don't care that much. My fence to my back yard is over 10 feet from his fence.
What kind of issues could I have when I sell my property? This is the only thing I care about. I took some law classes back in college and I do remember talking about something where if the neighbor using part of your property for so many years, it becomes their property or they have the right to continue to use it. Anyone that has had this issue or knows about this stuff, let me know what you think.
