OT: iPhone6 vs Samsung Galaxy

So I'm due for multiple upgrades on my Verizon account and it's time to make a decision. My wife currently has a 32-GB iPhone 4 and is looking at either iPhone 6 or Samsung Galaxy 6.

What are the positives and negatives of making that switch from Apple to Android?
