A neighbor put a friend in touch with us and she wants to look at the house and is a cash buyer. She has looked for homes in the development for two years.
The prospective buyer said she’ll do her own improvements etc. and not to do much cleaning/updating etc. She’ll do the improvements herself.
This seems too good to be true. Is there a downside to cash sales? Tax repercussions?
I paid cash for my home and it was a smooth deal. Just thinking maybe they all aren’t that way.
