Nebraska vs Kansas State (Huskers lead 3-0 Top 2nd)
Miller with an infield single, Lubach then hits an RBI triple!!! Darby K's for out number one, Schreiber hits an RBI single to CF!!! Schreiber steals 2nd base, Dilday grounds out to 3rd and Schreiber advances to 3rd. Placzek singles to left for another RBI! Boldt grounds out to end the inning.

I think for us to become a pretty good team on a consistent basis this year we will need guys like Lubach and Darby in the middle of that lineup to take the pressure off the top of our lineup. Boldt and those guys tend to be expected to get a hit every inning just to give us a chance, if we can get decent hitting from the middle and just average hitting from the bottom we will be sitting pretty IMO.

Agree Robster.....you can't be successful st any level with holes in your lineup. Stay solid at the top and get some timely production out of the bottom and we will have chamce against anybody.
Would feel a lot better about this team though if we could find at least one guy capable of average power numbers.
