It's official: Nebraska and Colorado will kick off at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 7. The night game will be televised on NBC. It will mark the first ever evening kickoff between Nebraska and Colorado at Memorial Stadium.
Per a release, the NBC prime-time appearance will be Nebraska’s second in the past two years on the network. Last fall, the Huskers’ game at Wisconsin was broadcast to an NBC national audience. The NU-Colorado game will mark the first time NBC has broadcast a game from Memorial Stadium since Thanksgiving Day in 1965, when Nebraska defeated Oklahoma in Lincoln.
Additional game times and television information are expected by the end of May, including kickoff times for the games against UTEP (Aug. 31) and Northern Iowa (Sept. 14). Other special dates games may also be announced by the end of May.
