My dad has been on here for years, he don't post much as he is much more a doer then talker but enjoys the Huskersonline daily.
Short story, dad got sick in May, out in hospital into late June only getting sicker. They found he had aplastic Large TCell Alkaline Positive cancer, stage 4. Started chemo late June and will do that through Sept then a stem cell transplant.
My dad has never asked for help but always gave. In Central City Ne he was a VOL. EMT and Fireman for years, he was Chief Deputy in Merrick County before going to Iraq then Jordan to Train Iraqi Police. Came back home as a police officer in Hastings and worked drugs there before going g to Afghanistan on what they called poppy Eradication Force, Training Afghanistan police until he was injured 3 years in with IED while on his.
