- Caught up with new Nebraska offer 2027 Omaha Central running back Kylonn Haynie today and will have the full interview with him posted tomorrow. He was shocked by the offer, it meant a lot to him that Nebraska was the first to believe in him. He stands 5'8, nearly 5'9 and weighs in at 200lbs as a freshman. Not planning a decision any time soon but his current teammates, 2027 athlete Tory Pittman and 2026 wide receiver DaShawn Prince already hold offers from the Huskers and the three do hope to play together again in college. Haynie's already planning to return for practice again on Saturday. More on the freshman tomorrow.

- Nebraska had 2025 La Verne (Cali.) Bonita four-star linebacker Noah Karim-Mikhail on campus the past two days and early returns from his visit experience are positive. Just getting Karim-Mikhail on campus is big, he's planning to commit before his senior season and previously told Rivals just last month that USC, Oregon, Notre Dame, Texas A&M and Washington were the frontrunners in his recruitment. The fact that he made the trip from California, on his own dime, at this stage of his recruitment, says a lot about the effort Tony White and Rob Dvorecek have done keeping Nebraska involved. White in particular has done some really good work here that could ultimately pay off for the Huskers. Now the next step is finding out whether the Huskers earned an official visit out of the No. 3 linebacker in the country. He'll head home to evaluate his options and set an OV schedule for the month of June.

- Salt Lake City (Uta.) West teammates three-star offensive tackle Halafihi Tapu and 2026 safety Jaxon Toala stopped through practice on Tuesday. Both have offers from the Huskers and had a good time on campus. Tapu's a fascinating offensive line target, he played football for the first time this past fall after moving in from New Zealand. Legit 6'7, 295 pounds, lower on the board compared to some more polished tackles Nebraska's in on but a name to keep an eye on, this staff loves these developmental prospects after all.

- 2025 Maize (Kan.) High three-star wide receiver Bryson Hayes spent the day in Lincoln and is currently heading back home. Will have more on him tomorrow, but picked up some intel today that Kansas State fought really hard to keep Hayes from making an early commitment to Nebraska. Wildcats had to reset a bit following the loss of OC Collin Klein to Texas A&M, but have made this recruitment extremely tight. Kansas is also involved, but there's a belief this recruitment will come down to Nebraska and Kansas State.

- ICYMI, San Francisco (Cali.) St. Ignatius College Prep three-star offensive tackle John Mills will make an official visit to Nebraska for the spring game. He's also planning an unofficial visit next week to see practice. Huskers are battling Texas, Florida, Washington and USC for Mills. Longhorns are the biggest threat at this point.

- Quick basketball portal note, Nebraska went in-home with North Dakota State big man Andrew Morgan last night but in talking with a source close to the situation, there's a feeling Minnesota has the edge in his recruitment. Morgan originally hails from Wasceca, Minn. and the opportunity to play in his home state as a senior might be too much to pass up. Huskers still in pursuit though.
