Former Cornhusker Kyler Reed is entering his third season as an assistant coach for Highland Community College in Highland, Kansas and it is also where and Ryan Held was the head coach for a couple seasons before following Scott Frost to Central Florida.

Coach Kyler Reed tells me that he and most of the Highland coaching staff will be visiting Lincoln tomorrow [Tuesday, March 27] to get to know the new Nebraska staff better and to find out how they run things on their staff and in their program.

There will not be any Highland players coming on this particular trip north to Nebraska, but Coach Held was recently at Highland to check over their roster and things could develop down the road with some of their players.

I'll be following up with Coach Kyler Reed later in the week to get his impressions of his visit with the new Cornhusker coaches.
